Paul-André is a seasoned entrepreneur, leader and businessperson. He has founded, bought and sold nearly a dozen companies in the past 20 years. Of particular relevance to Operasoft, in 2008 Paul-André bought and within two years, turned around a company in the snow and ice industry which rapidly became the most prominent company in the industry of snow and ice residential removal on the island of Laval. It went from 600 to 4,000 residential customers and 50 employees. It expanded tremendously and was sold in 2010. The creation of Operasoft was thus a logical outcome of the insights and experience gained from this endeavor. It is by computerizing his business in the snow and ice industry that the management tools were developed and resulted in the vast range of solutions offered today by Operasoft.
Furthermore, in relation to a 20 year career in the telematics industry, are the companies Boomerang, which successfully installed over 200,000 tracking devices in vehicles across Canada in 10 years, serving over 30 partner insurance companies. As well, Datacom Wireless which launched a next-generation tracking system based on GPS called Mobilus for theft recovery and Mobicom for commercial fleet management applications. Finally, Guardian which has equipped tens of thousands of vehicles with its proprietary DNA1 anti-theft parts etching system. Several companies M. Savoie has founded have become listed on the TSX, and gone on to be acquired by larger companies, leading to long term success for all stakeholders.
M. Savoie has been involved in several non-profit organisations throughout the years such as St-John’s Ambulance, Portage and La Fondation du Maire de Montréal pour la Jeunesse. He has been an administrator on several boards of directors such as the Quebec Pension Fund (Régie des Rentes du Québec), Fonds FTQ Régional de Laval. M. Savoie has been awarded numerous recognitions such as Canada’s Top 40 under 40 when he was only 29, Entrepreneur of the year at the Laval Chamber of Commerce, Entrepreneur of the year finalist by Ernst & Young, and has been awarded the grade of Officer of the Venerable order of St-John.
Guillaume Giraudon, MSC
Chief Technology Officer
Guillaume Giraudon earned a Bachelor in Computer Science and a Masters in Software Development. Guillaume possesses more than 15 years of experience in the IT industry. He successfully completed an internship at INSA (IBM Global Services) in Madrid. He worked at Diagram and INSA in Spain, Gemplus Technologies in Singapore, participated in the start-up ‘Dream-Up’ in Sophia Antipolis. He then went on to work for Bell South in Panama as well as Global Crossing and Alogient in Montreal. He successfully co-founded Ubity in Montreal, one of Canada’s leading VoIP providers to the SMB market.
As a young adult, Guillaume also lived in Ivory Coast, Argentina as well as Hong Kong. He has been CTO at Baseline Telematics for 7 years where he has lead the development teams to create a series of highly innovative solutions ranging from SAAS solutions, leading edge infrastructure, wireless telemetry, embedded software and IP telephony. He works in close collaboration with the senior management team to ensure a sound technical architecture to support the corporation’s long term goals, and supports the program managers as needed so that the team is agile in helping its clients achieve their desired objectives.
Christian Labonté, MCS

Christian Labonté earned a Bachelor in Applied Science, Computer Science from Université Laval and a Masters in Computer Science from Dalhousie University where he led an advanced research project titled “Secure Multicasting on Active Virtual Private Networks”. He presented the outcome of his research at two international conferences and was published in two IEEE publications. Christian possesses more than 14 years of experience in software development; most of them acquired in the R&D arms of Nortel Networks and Ericsson where he learned how to bring projects from innovation to robust deployments meeting the rigorous requirements of telecom carriers.
Christian joined Operasoft two years ago and has been coordinating the implementation of the Simplify, GPS Tracking, and more specifically the In-Vehicle Tablet product lines from their initial prototype states into a successful live deployment and evolution using an Agile methodology. His strong technical background coupled with his great communication and leadership skills allow him to properly align the operational team with the actual needs of our clients to achieve the maximum efficiency.
Vice-President, Finance & Administration
Graduated college in computer software. Her experience in business administration has led her for the last ten years in the implementation of management systems and CRM such as CRM Oracle, Salesforce & Microsoft Dynamics CRM. She participated actively in the launch of the company Guardian, where she held various positions implementing CRM, and developing internal policies & procedures. In 2009 Lyne joined Operasoft as Project Manager, and has demonstrated the ability to develop and implement viable and efficient solutions.

He has been working in the software industry for over fourteen years with a focus on Fleet and Operation Management Software and has developed a vast experience with new mid-market segments on a global basis. He specialized in marketing at Concordia University, located in Montreal, Québec and this is his philosophy: “The most important part of customer service is taking the time to listen and understand the end users current needs and obstacles they face on a daily basis.
